The Hip Flask has a long and storied history. Its origins can be traced back to the 18th century when it was then a must-have item for gentlemen to carry with wherever they go.

By the 1920s, flask was no longer allowed for selling in the state of Indiana in America after the US enacted the prohibition.

During this period of time, ladies start carrying the flask secretly in their garter while men hid theirs under coats.
